Suzi Storr

Suzi joined the University of Hull in 2013 as a Partnership Area Tutor, working with schools during trainee placement periods.

She became the Y2 School Experience Co-ordinator for the Year 2 Primary Teaching students in 2016 and worked with a variety of partner schools, School Direct teams and SCITTs across the region. Suzi is now a module leader within the new Teaching Studies programme. She also leads placement modules on the Early Childhood Studies programme.

Suzi recently completed in a Diploma in Trauma Informed Practice with TIS UK and is now qualified to deliver TIS UK training to University of Hull students.

Previously, Suzi spent several years teaching in a Hull primary school, leading the curriculum for PE and ICT in school and working through the leadership development programmes.

She completed her Primary PGCE at the University of Hull after obtaining a BA Honours degree in Applied Social Science. In May 2025 Suzi completed her MA Education, achieving a Distinction for research into trauma-informed practice in a local school.
