Summary

Sarah is an archivist at the University of Hull, based at Hull History Centre. She is responsible for collecting, cataloguing and providing access to archive collections. Sarah also teaches archival skills and palaeography workshops.

Sarah has particular interests in using technology for collections management and improving the usability of archive catalogues. She is an advocate for diversity in archives and is an ARA Diversity and Inclusion Ally.

Her collections expertise is in early modern family and estates records and 20th-century campaigning records.

Sarah delivers Introduction to Archives sessions to undergraduates and taught postgraduates at the request of tutors. She also runs palaeography workshops for the public.
