Sarah Donkin

Sarah Donkin has over 20 years experience teaching and supporting students. She is a trauma-informed practitioner with a background spanning further and higher education, as well as children's and adults' social care. Her teaching and research focus on trauma-informed, safeguarding and inclusive approaches to education. She is currently involved in research evaluating trauma-informed approaches in educational contexts and is a founding member and Co-Lead of the Trauma-Informed Approaches to Higher Education (TIA-HE) Network. She is also Co-Lead of the Personal Supervision Network (part of the Hull University Pedagogy & Scholarship centre) and a member of the UKAT Special Interest Group for Mental Health & Wellbeing.
