Dr Richard Boczko is an accomplished researcher with over a decade of experience. He holds a PhD in Psychology and has developed a strong academic foundation, with a particular focus on cognitive processes, mental imagery, and more recently, neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia.
Known for his visionary thinking, Richard brings a distinct combination of research expertise, commercial acumen, and excels at identifying opportunities for process improvement. His analytical mindset, combined with a keen understanding of human behaviour and organisational systems, enables him to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of academic research projects.
His current research is contributing to the understanding of cognitive decline in later life. The ENHANCE research project is an innovative study that aims to reduce cognitive decline and minimise the likelihood of developing dementia. This important research initiative is a collaborative effort between University College London (UCL) and the University of Hull, bringing together leading experts to tackle one of the most pressing global health challenges of our time.
