Summary

Trish has many years experience working with babies, children and their families in a range of contexts and has been teaching in Further and Higher Education since 2005, joining Hull University in 2017.

Trish is Admissions Tutor for School of Education programmes and Module Leader on the MA Education (Online). Her research interests include inclusive education, provision for children with SEND and children's communication and literacy development.

Having worked in education for many years, Trish enjoys working directly with students in the classroom, online and in a one-to-one supervisory capacity. In the role of Admissions Tutor, Trish takes a pragmatic and positive approach, aiming to support applicants to achieve their goals through recognition of learning, work and life experience.

Trish is proud to be a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (SFHEA) and hold Qualified Teacher (Learning & Skills) QTLS status.
