Summary

Louise is a postgraduate researcher who has benefitted from a varied career journey. With substantial service at Smith & Nephew Medical Ltd, Louise gained a wealth of experience from roles in raw material control, quality assurance, quality auditing, and quality system management; in all roles, assuring compliance to medical device regulations.

Transitioning to the education sector, Louise joined Bishop Burton College as a Quality and Standards Coordinator, facilitating audits, management of quality policy, documentation, and student data analysis. Later, her role evolved into the position of Sustainability Officer, where she developed environmental sustainability initiatives, fostering collaboration and innovation. Recent learning and education at the Open University, followed by an MSc in Environmental Change, Management, and Monitoring along with development in environmental sustainability, has led to this current opportunity to further study her passion with the University of Hull.

Louise has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the environment and environmental sustainability and is dedicated to making a positive impact in this field.
