She graduated from the University of Hull in 2012 with a BSc Hons in Sport Rehabilitation and gained her Masters degree with a thesis entitled 'CrossFitâ„¢ Style Training: Are Functional Movement Patterns linked with Increased Performance' in 2018. Since then she has completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and is now a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Lois is module leader for the second year Professional Practice 1 module and the third year Professional Practice 2 module. In addition to that, Lois is a dissertation and MSCi project supervisor and is the Student Placement Coordinator for the degree programme. She plays an active role in student supervision within the University's Athletes Union Injury Clinic and the Outreach Injury Clinic.
