Director of Studies - Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science
Lois joined the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science as a member of lecturing staff in 2017. Lois was the Sport Rehabilitation Programme Director from 2020 - 2023 and is now the Director of Studies for the School.
She graduated from the University of Hull in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation and gained her Masters degree with a thesis entitled 'CrossFitâ„¢ Style Training: Are Functional Movement Patterns linked with Increased Performance' in 2018.
Lois is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and completed the Aurora Women's Leadership programme in 2022.
Lois is module leader for third year Professional Practice 2 module (on the Sport Rehabilitation programme) and is a pivotal member of the Student Placement Team.
She plays an active role in student supervision within the Health, Injury and Performance Hub and the University's Athletes Union Injury provision.
