Summary

Lois joined the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science as a member of lecturing staff in 2017. Lois was the Sport Rehabilitation Programme Director from 2020 - 2023 and is now the Director of Studies for the School.

She graduated from the University of Hull in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation and gained her Masters degree with a thesis entitled 'CrossFitâ„¢ Style Training: Are Functional Movement Patterns linked with Increased Performance' in 2018.

Lois has completed the Aurora Women's Leadership programme, as well as the University's Brilliant Leader programme and has a Level 5 diploma from the Chartered Management Institute in Leadership. Lois is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Lois is module leader for the Level 6 Professional Practice module and she also co-teaches the Level 4 Introduction to Exercise and Training module.

She plays an active role in student supervision within the Health, Injury and Performance Hub and the University's Athletes Union Injury provision.
