Summary

Lee Rawlings is a Lecturer in Education Studies at the School of Education, where he teaches across various programs, including undergraduate and master's level courses. He is the Pathway Lead for the MA in Social Justice and Community Engagement and leads two MA modules: "Social Justice, Praxis and Transformative Change" and "Social Justice in Practice: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Community Engagement."

Lee also serves as the Module Leader for "Managing Self in Contemporary Practice Contexts" (Level 5) and contributes to other undergraduate courses, such as "Voice and Influence," "Communities of Practice," and "Educational Theory."

His research interests include critical consciousness, critical literacy, class, and interdisciplinary approaches to these areas.

Lee has extensive experience teaching adults, particularly in informal and non-formal settings, and has also worked in primary and secondary schools, mainly supporting parents, carers, and their children.

He has a strong interest in the arts, especially music.
