As Interim Librarian he represents the Library on University Committees, aligning the Library's services with the University's strategic direction and goals. Externally, Chris has been a member of a number of Jisc Steering Groups, and currently sits on the Digital Research Community Council. He was a founder of the Samvera Community (previously known as Hydra) in 2008 and remains active within the Community supporting the development of digital repository solutions. Prior to joining the University of Hull, Chris worked as a Programme Manager for Jisc, and as a systems librarian at Imperial College, London.
