Summary

Dr Cathy Kilburn is the Programme Director for the FdEd Professional Practice in Early Years 0-8 & BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care (1 year Top-Up) programmes within the School of Education.

Cathy is an experienced early years practitioner, and draws on her many years of experience of working with children, families and practitioners to help her students make links between theory and practice.

Cathy completed her Doctorate in Early Childhood Education focusing on young children's reinforcement of gender stereotypes and norms.
