Summary

I have always had a keen interest in science and health care. I completed a degree in biology and wanted to go into teaching but at the same time became very passionate about nursing. I have worked in nursing for 17 years, mainly within the fields of haematology and oncology. I spent a few years as an oncology research nurse before re kindling my passion for teaching. After spending a time as a clinical nurse educator I came to the University of Hull as an associate fellow and lecturer in adult nursing. I teach on the BSc degree, and the nursing associate programs.

Research interests

I am currently undertaking a Masters in Education at the University of Hull.
