Summary

My research focuses on understanding marine resource management issues and is typically applied, either informing policy development or business response to ESG risk. It includes studies in the following areas; biodiversity conservation, spatial planning, fisheries management, governance, and supply-chain.

Current projects include: resilience of Indonesian fisheries to the COVID-19 pandemic, and understanding the drivers for globalism and localism in the production of blue foods.
