Summary

Grew up in Grimsby and played his first game on a Binatone TV Master in the late 1970s and never looked back. Adrian wrote his first game for the Commodore 64 in the eighties and then taught himself guitar, played in bands and went to University to study Media and Film Studies. It was not long before video games drew him back and after a break, he decided to teach himself how to code on a modern engine and make some games.

Alongside this, Adrian was employed at the University Centre Grimsby and soon became the Programme Leader for the Game Design courses. He released his first game on Android, before releasing others via Itch.io that were made during the Global Game Jams he hosted at the UCG. Following this, he released Shudder on Steam and then Witch Command and Spark Out during the Pandemic on both Android and Itch. Adrian then joined the University of Hull as a lecturer and has now taken on the role of Programme Director.
