There are a small number of social media posts suggesting people seeking asylum in Hull are being moved to the University. This information is incorrect.
The photos that have been shared are of participants attending an international summer school.
The University is proud to be home to a diverse international community, and to welcome students and visitors from around the world, who make a valuable and important contribution to our campus, the local economy and the wider region.
