Decision welcomed on graduate visa following campaign
The University of Hull welcomes the Government announcement there will be no changes to the Graduate Visa route.
As recognised by the Migration and Advisory Committee’s recent report, our international students make an incredible contribution to our university and the wider community. We are extremely proud to have students from more than 100 nations studying and living here in Hull.
The graduate visa enables international Undergraduate and Masters students to work in the UK for two years after graduation (or for three years for those with a PhD). Part of the Government’s International Education Strategy, its aim is to improve the UK’s competitiveness and drive growth.
