As the UK seeks to accelerate the transition to low-carbon energy, deep geothermal has the potential to play a significant role in delivering secure, sustainable heat and energy. Yet despite its promise, relatively few geothermal projects have progressed beyond the feasibility stage.

The Humber Geothermal Energy Workshop: From Model to Market brings together experts from industry, academia and the public sector to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with developing deep geothermal energy in the Humber region.

This interactive one-day workshop will examine the technical, commercial and societal factors that influence geothermal development, drawing on expertise from the University of Hull, Consortium Drilling Limited and Eden Geothermal Limited. Through a series of focused discussions and regional case studies, participants will explore how collaboration, innovation and investment can help unlock the region's geothermal potential.
