Around 400 students work across the University and Hull University Students' Union (HUSU) at any one time, with paid opportunities available throughout the year.

You just want a job, right? Wrong. You want the right job. From student ambassador to hospitality, there are lots of roles to suit different interests, skills and experience. Many roles require little or no previous experience.

Earning extra money is a great reason to get a campus job, but it's only one of the benefits. Working on campus builds confidence and gives you the chance to:

New roles become available regularly, so whether you're looking for your first job or your next one, there are always options.

Got questions? We've got answers

Most campus jobs have no minimum hours, so you can choose shifts to fit around your lectures, coursework, exams and social commitments. Some roles do specify minimum weekly hours. Please check before you apply. We recommend working no more than 15 hours a week during term time to help you balance work and study. International students should also check any visa restrictions.
