Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act (2000) aims to promote greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring all public authorities (including universities) to make information available proactively. One way is via a Publication Scheme and another is by processing and responding to FOI requests in accordance with the Act and within a 20 working day timeframe.

The University of Hull has adopted a Publication Scheme that describes the information the University publishes or intends to publish in the future.

View our Freedom of Information policy.
