Bridging The Gap

Join our free, 3 week course for a smooth transition to your studies at Hull.

About the programme

Bridging the Gap is a three-week programme for international students new to higher education in the UK. The programme allows students to arrive on campus before their main course starts and to spend time settling in and learning about our academic culture and student life in Hull.

Designed in consultation with our academic teams and our international student ambassadors, the programme focuses on common challenges international students experience when studying at a UK university for the first time and provides the necessary tips, guidance, and know-how to help you get off to the best start possible.

Bridging the Gap is not an English language course. If you are looking for a course to help you improve your level of English, please look at our Pre-sessional English course.
