How do I claim the travel grant?

We want everyone to have the chance to explore everything that the University of Hull has to offer.

If you’re travelling more than 40 miles to attend one of our Open Days, Enhanced Campus Visits or Applicant Days taking place in 2026, you could claim up to £100 towards your travel costs.

How it works:

• After you attend an eligible event offering the travel grant, you’ll receive an email from us.
• This email includes a link to a short feedback survey and the travel grant claim form.
• Simply complete the online form and, if eligible, we’ll pay your grant directly into your bank account.

Please note: Payments may take up to 6 weeks during busy periods. You may be asked to provide a form of identification as verification.
