Will I be eligible for student finance?

Most UK students are eligible to apply for student finance if they meet the residency and eligibility requirements set by Student Finance England.

Who can apply?

You may be eligible if you:

• Are a UK national or have settled status.
• Normally live in England.
• Have lived in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man for the required period before your course starts.

Some students with refugee or humanitarian protection status, or those covered by specific UK visa schemes, may also be eligible.
