What if I’ve already studied for a degree – can I apply for student finance for another?

In most cases, if you’ve already completed a degree, you can’t take out funding for another. Exceptions to that are Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, and Physiotherapy (not Paramedic Science).

If you’ve started a degree but not finished it, you may still be able to take out funding, depending on how long you studied for. If it was for a year or less, you’ll still be able to take out full student finance. But if it was for any longer, please seek advice.
