Can I apply to Hull York Medical School through Clearing?
No. Hull York Medical School (HYMS) does not usually offer Medicine places through Clearing. Medicine is a highly competitive course, and places are typically filled before Clearing opens.
Why isn't Medicine available through Clearing?
Medicine is one of the most competitive degree programmes in the UK. Applications are made through the main UCAS application process and follow a different admissions timeline to most undergraduate courses.
Because of this, Hull York Medical School does not usually have places available through Clearing.
What if I still want to study Medicine?
If your goal is to become a doctor, you'll normally need to apply to Hull York Medical School through the main UCAS application cycle for entry in a future year.
Before applying, it's important to check the latest entry requirements and admissions process, including any additional assessments and deadlines that may apply.
If you're considering reapplying, taking time to strengthen your application through additional experience or qualifications may also be worthwhile.
