How do I apply to transfer to Hull from another university?

You can transfer to Hull at different stages of your studies, whether during your first year through UCAS Clearing or later by applying directly or through UCAS for Year 2 or Year 3 entry. If Clearing has closed, send us an enquiry and one of our friendly team will get back to you with advice on your options.

Transferring during your first year

If you’re in your first year, you may be able to apply through UCAS Clearing, if places are available.

Transferring after Clearing has closed

If Clearing has finished but you still want to transfer, send us an enquiry and one of our team will be in touch with advice. We can advise on your options, including starting in the next academic year or joining later in your course.

Joining Year 2 or Year 3 of a degree

If you’re hoping to transfer directly into the second or third year, you’ll usually apply through UCAS or by making a direct application, depending on the course.

Include details of your current studies (modules, grades, and transcript) to help us assess credit transfer.
