Hull is a city with a proud sporting heritage and our close working links include partners such as Hull City AFC.

Further afield we have collaborated on major research projects with FIFA, UEFA, the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Research

Sport and exercise science research at the University of Hull covers five specific areas of strength including sport and exercise rehabilitation; clinical exercise science, personal technologies in sport and exercise science; sport performance; and anti-doping in sport.

Our work placements are already built into your degree. So you get to apply the scientific theory of physiology, psychology and biomechanics with hands-on experience.
Experience our new £16-million sports centre, and the opportunity to join one or more of the 50 Athletic Union clubs run by the students’ union.
You can tap into our close links with Hull City, Hull KR and Hull FC: all three clubs have former Hull students working for them.
