About the course

Social workers support people when they need it most.

Taught by experts with real-world experience, you’ll study issues like homelessness, drug and alcohol use, disability and mental health as well as social welfare policies and the safeguarding of adults and children.

The Social Work Apprenticeship is designed to ensure that you are eligible to apply to register as a professional social worker with Social Work England on graduation and prepared to work with a range of service user and carer groups.

By developing skills in a workplace, you'll bring practical knowledge and experience back into the classroom, enhancing your learning and development as you actively link theory to practice.
