About this Taster Session
This four-part webinar series is designed to run over a single school term, with each session lasting 30 minutes. Ideal for the same group of students to attend throughout, the sessions build progressively - developing creative thinking, storytelling skills, and confidence in writing.
Each session has a unique creative focus:
- Introduction to Creative Thinking
- Creating Characters
- Stylising Settings
- Pushing Plots
Where possible, the final session can even be delivered on campus, bringing the experience together in a more immersive way.
Every webinar includes engaging resources and practical writing exercises, encouraging students to generate ideas quickly and sketch out their own stories during or after the session.

Students aged 16-18 years in school or college interested in Creative Writing.
