About this Taster Session
Step into the shadows with this immersive workshop exploring the connections between the worlds of Gothic literature and its connection to conspiratorial thinking in the real world. Why are we drawn to the idea of sinister plots and strange rituals? Participants will be challenged to examine what makes fictional cults and secret societies so compelling, and examine how conspiracy theory structures mirror Gothic narrative structures. This interactive session will challenge you to use classic literary texts as clues to decipher puzzles and will test your abilities to use critical thinking to understand complex problems and societal fears.
