About this Session
A Chemical Engineer is a jack of all trades. The future of energy production, chemical production, sustainability, decarbonisation and chemical production is down to us. We design, we operate, we optimise and we innovate. This is why a Chemical Engineer is the highest paid ‘Engineer’ in the family of disciplines. Here, you will design, build and test the operation of a biomass silo made from various materials (including marshmallows, spaghetti and other things way stronger) in real world conditions. With your team, you will choose the materials for your build as well as determine the economics, competing for who can make the tallest, strongest and most exciting biomass silo to fuel clean energy production for the future!
