About this award
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Hull is offering 7 scholarships to students in Bangladesh, China, Ghana, Kenya, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam (1 for each country) applying for postgraduate courses in all subject areas. The GREAT Scholarships 2022 programme, launched by the British Council with partner universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam and more to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the partner institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

2022 Scholarships
The University of Hull is offering scholarships for students beginning a full time, postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2022. The awards are as follows:
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Bangladeshi students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Chinese students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Ghanaian students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Kenyan students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Turkish students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Thai students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
- 1 x up to £10,000 (GBP) award for Vietnamese students studying on any full time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
These scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.
