About this award

Attitude Magazine Foundation Logo smaller

We support our LGBTQ+ community all year round, and in 2021/22 we were proud to launch the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Undergraduate University Scholarship. We're pleased to be able to continue to offer this support for new students in 2022/23, with the support of the Attitude Magazine Foundation.

The Attitude Magazine Foundation Scholarship is available to six UK undergraduate applicants who identify as LGBTQ+ and:

  • have a household income of less than £25,000

  • a disability

Please make sure that you have applied for a place at the University of Hull to study an undergraduate degree starting September 2022 before applying for this scholarship. If you haven't applied for your place yet you'll find some help on doing that here.

The recipients will also have the opportunity to meet with LGBTQ+ alumni who have enjoyed success in their respective fields, for advice and question sessions.
