Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act (2000) aim is to promote greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring all public authorities (including University’s) to make information available proactively. One way is via a Publication Scheme and another is by processing and responding to FOI requests in accordance with the Act and within a 20 working day timeframe.
The University of Hull has adopted a Publication Scheme that describes information the University publishes or intends to publish in the future. For enquiries relating to the information available on the Model Publication Scheme or to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act, please contact us using the details to the right of this page.
