Results Day and eInduction
This is when many students will receive confirmation of which university you’ll be attending or when you’ll look to secure a place via Clearing.
It is also when our eInduction period starts. Throughout late August, we’ll be sending new students a series of emails about how to enrol, as well as further information on everything from booking an arrival slot for accommodation to how to access student support.
Returning students will also receive instructions and information via email about how to re-enrol ahead of the new academic year. So keep a close eye on your inboxes!
Monday 2 September
Check your timetable
As long as you follow the steps on how to enrol/re-enrol as above, this is when you'll be able to get a first look at your timetable for your first semester. You can access it at mytimetable.hull.ac.uk.
If your new timetable clashes with any personal or work commitments, speak to your Personal Supervisor about how best to work around it.
Saturday 14 September
Moving in day
This is the big one! The day you've been waiting for – when you move into the room you'll be calling home for the next year.

Sunday 15 to Saturday 21 September
Freshers Hull 2024
Freshers features a diverse range of activities and events for all to welcome you to campus and help you settle into university life. It’s open to new and returning students and is a great way to meet new people, find out about our societies and take part in a full social calendar.
You can find out further information about Freshers Hull 2024 and how to get involved on our Students’ Union website.
Monday 16 to Friday 20 September
Get to know your new subject
Freshers also gives first years the chance to meet with other students on your course, your personal supervisor and your teaching staff. This is normally done socially as part of an informal event. Again, keep an eye on your inboxes for details.
Monday 23 September
Teaching begins
Today's the day that teaching starts, and you'll have your first lectures or workshops. You'll be on the stage at graduation before you know it…
