Undergraduate

For admission onto the first year of an undergraduate Bachelor's degree course, we generally accept the following qualifications and grades:

For undergraduate programmes requiring BBC / 112 UCAS points or BBB / 120 UCAS points, you must complete the Devlet Lise Diplomasi at 70%.
For undergraduate programmes requiring ABB or 128 UCAS points, you must complete Devlet Lise Diplomasi at 75%.

Evaluation of applications will be on a case-by-case basis. If you want to join an undergraduate programme in the second or final year, this will depend on your completed equivalent prior study.

Postgraduate Taught

Most taught Masters programmes need you have a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check the course pages for specific entry requirements.

The University of Hull considers Lisans Diplomasi or Mühendis Diplomasi awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Turkey comparable to a UK Bachelor's Honours degree.

Lower second-class (2.2) equivalent

GPA 2.5 out of 4

Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent

GPA 3.0 out of 4

Some pre-masters programmes are eligible for Masters programmes. Please get in touch with pgadmission@hull.ac.uk to confirm if your programme is eligible.

Postgraduate Research

The majority of our research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

We generally consider a Lisans Diplomasi or Mühendis Diplomasi awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Turkey to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree. We generally accept Upper Second Class Division for programmes with 2.1 entry requirement and First Class Division for programmes requiring British First Class Honours degree for entry.
