  • Postgraduate Taught

    The majority of our taught Master programmes require that you hold a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

    We generally accept the below qualifications awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution to be comparable to UK Bachelor Honours degree.

    • Bachelor of Medicine
    • Bachelor of Surgery
    • Bachelor of Dental Surgery
    • Bachelor of Veterinary Science

    Lower second-class (2.2) equivalent
    Overall grade 60% or lower division

    Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent
    Overall grade of 65% or upper division

  • Postgraduate Research

    The majority of our research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

Fees

  • Undergraduate - For 2023/24 entry, our undergraduate tuition fees are £15,400 per year for arts programmes and £18,300 for science courses, but check your course page because some fees vary. Scholarships are available for international students.
  • Postgraduate Taught - Fees for International students studying Postgraduate taught masters degrees in 2023/24 range from £10,000 to £12,000, although non-standard fees apply to some courses. Please see your course page for more information.
  • Postgraduate Research - Our postgraduate research courses are between £16,250 and £18,650. There are some PhD scholarships available designed to attract the best academic talent to further our groundbreaking research.
