We're one of the country's oldest universities, and we've come a long way in our 90 years. The University of Hull is a vibrant institution – a blend of English tradition and cutting-edge technology.

We're among the UK's top 10 universities for graduate employability.

We nurture communities and we put our students (drawn from more than 100 countries) at the heart of everything we do.

"During my time in Hull I have enjoyed meeting students from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions. This gave me the opportunity to improve my interpersonal skills and understand more about different cultures."

"The University of Hull provided me with a very warm welcome when I arrived and I really appreciated the supportive staff. Thanks to the quality of teaching, I was able to gain exceptional knowledge in accountancy and the opportunities to be involved in real life projects that enabled me to learn valuable skills.

"I strongly recommend the Hull Employability Awards that I did in my final year. It’s a programme that helps students prepare for getting a good job after university and grow into reflective and confident graduates. The interview skills that I acquired have helped me get my first accountancy job after I graduated this summer. I have also developed leadership skills when mentoring other students on the programme.
