Scholarships are available for students as follows:
Rory Clarke, Director, J R Rix & Sons Ltd, graduated with an MBA from the University of Hull 5 years ago and encourages his managers to consider the benefits of the programme. He said:
‘We have two members of staff studying on the programme at the moment, and we anticipate another one will start on the programme next month. So, yes, I absolutely value the benefits it can bring to our business.
‘If you consider those in mid to senior management, you know they have got there because they are good at what they do and have specialist knowledge which brings value to the business – whether that’s in HR, strategy, finance or operations management.
‘The benefit of the MBA is that whilst it develops the knowledge around these managers’ core areas of business it also adds significant knowledge in the areas that they have little or no experience in – and that is extremely useful when it comes to creating a successful organisational culture, increasing your market share or developing your leadership team your leadership team.’
Awarded on the basis of professional and academic excellence, the scholarships are open to applicants who meet the relevant entry criteria, have not been awarded any other scholarship and are able to commence their studies in September 2017.
