The business management element of this programme has been designed to help you develop a broad skill-set that will enable you to deal with the complexity and diversity of the modern business world. Combining this with a focus on accounting means you'll gain the skills to analyse facts and figures giving you a real edge in the jobs market. 2019 Tariff points: 112 points. Points can be from any qualification on the UCAS tariff, but must include at least 80 points from

  • BTEC Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma or Extended Diploma
  • OCR Cambridge Technical Introductory Diploma, Diploma or Extended Diploma
  • CACHE Diploma or Extended Diploma
  • Irish Leaving Certificate
  • Scottish Highers
  • Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Diploma
  • or a combination of appropriate Level 3 qualifications

If you require a Tier 4 student visa to study or if your first language is not English you will be required to provide acceptable evidence of your English language proficiency level.

Fees and funding

  • Home/EU: £9,250
  • International: £14,000

Fees may be subject to permitted inflationary increases in future years. 

UK and EU students can take out a tuition fee loan to cover the cost of their course, and UK students can take out a maintenance loan of up to £8,700 to cover living costs.

Substantial discounts are available for International students.

Future Prospects

A range of possibilities are open to our graduates from exciting employment opportunities - particularly in the accounting industry - to starting your own business.

Recent graduates have gone on to work with firms such as Deloitte, the Prince’s Trust, Npower, Humberside Police, Smith & Nephew, the Civil Service, Asda and Deutsche Bank.

Our students have gone on to work as financial administrators, marketing managers, production managers, quality assurance managers and retail managers.

Other graduates progress to further study, either here at Hull or with universities across Britain and around the world.
