Students enhance their ability to function as part of a project team, developing the critical skills which underpin strategic decision making – in areas including market research, digital marketing, international marketing and global trade. Our unique, holistic approach to marketing will help you achieve an organisation’s short-term objectives and long-term goals. You will be introduced to the main theories and perspectives of marketing, and to their value and limitations in use. You will also undertake a final research project, which can be either a dissertation or a business-based project. Modules include Marketing Management in Action This module aims to develop the marketing knowledge and skills to manage in any organisation with intercultural contacts. You'll showcase your understanding of marketing management through a marketing plan based on real case studies. Buyer Behaviour and Ethics Contemporary Global Marketing Practice This module equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to explore the interface between global marketing and business strategy. You'll be introduced to the key concepts, theories and issues involved in international marketing. Interactive Integrated Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing IMC combines and integrates all relevant elements of an organisation's communications to increase their effectiveness. On this module, you'll develop an integrated approach to digital marketing and social media, working with real businesses to develop essential digital and employability skills. Advanced Relationship Marketing Through a combination of lectures, workshops and seminars, you'll develop the skills to examine relationships in marketing and how these influence modern marketing strategy and practice. Find out more Entry requirements The programme is designed for graduates from any discipline with a strong interest in marketing management. However, we do recommend that you have a basic knowledge and understanding of this area or business studies. You will have a minimum of a 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent, one academic reference and a good command of English International students If you require a Tier 4 student visa to study or if your first language is not English you will be required to provide acceptable evidence of your English language proficiency level.
