Faculty of Health Sciences Self as Leader Continuing Professional Development Individual module Level of study Please select a level How to apply What you'll study This module is based upon the premise that a clear leadership vision and a critical appreciation of the determinants and impact of our behaviour are necessary prerequisites for wise and effective leadership. The opportunity is provided for the student to explore their current leadership approach and to develop an in-depth understanding of the predictive value of leadership theories and frameworks and how these can be used to inform their continuing professional and personal development. The module aims to enable the student to: explore the concept of leadership from a personal, professional and organisational perspective locate and challenge own personal and professional perspectives on leadership to use theoretical, professional & organisational frameworks to inform own leadership development Starts in: Duration: September 12 weeks (1 semester) This module is delivered on Thursdays 9am - 11.50am on campus.
