What you'll study

Become familiar with the concepts of health prevention, health protection and health promotion in relation to children and young people. During this module, you'll identify some of the common health needs of children and young people and explore ways of responding to them. You'll also consider ways of engaging with children and young people, their families and communities with a view to contributing to health improvement.

During this module, you'll analyse the relevant theories and theoretical debates in relation to interdisciplinary working, inter-professional collaboration, partnership work, and inclusion in relation to health. You'll also access and evaluate information from a range of sources and assess accurately the usefulness and applicability of the information.
