What you'll study

The underlying principle of work based learning is that it offers an opportunity for you to focus on a topic related to your own professional practice – which may primarily be either theoretical in nature, or more obviously practice-based and to set yourself a series of objectives which will form the basis of your ultimate submission. This module provides a framework within which students can apply research based knowledge, theoretical principles and problem solving strategies to practical problems arising in the workplace.

The module provides the opportunity for students to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking in applying theoretical concepts and ideas to practice. Student will be able to develop the skills required to make a positive difference to organisational performance. Enhance their capability for self-directed learning and creative problem solving in complex situations. Apply conceptual, theoretical and research based knowledge to the problems and opportunities arising from professional practice.
