Faculty of Health Sciences Care and Management of the Critically Ill Patient Continuing Professional Development Individual module Level of study Please select a level How to apply What you'll study This module covers the fundamental aspects of critical care, ARDS, Sepsis, ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring etc. It is only suitable for individuals with a reasonable level of intensive care experience or those working in high end high dependency units. The module runs over 6 study days alternative weeks of semester 2 and is offered alternate academic years. Assessment of the module is by case study. Entry requirements If studied as a stand alone module there are no entry requirements other than relevant clinical experience. If studied as part of a BSc programme/Grad Dip Programme candidates will have to meet the entry criteria of the programme (HE Diploma in Nursing/Operating Department Practice/Paramedic Science or similar professional qualification, or the equivalent number of CAT points).
