Faculty of Health Sciences Aspects of Child and Family Health Continuing Professional Development Individual module Level of study Please select a level How to apply What you'll study The overall aim of this module is to introduce students to the key issues affecting child health in contemporary society and the impact that health decisions and health choices have on children and their families. The module aims to enable students to: Understand the range of definitions of physical, emotional, mental and sexual health for children and young people Explore factors which influence health and well being Consider how children, young people and their families experience health and express perceived health needs Reflect upon the provision of health care for children and young people in UK Starts in: Duration: January 12 weeks (1 semester) This module is delivered on Wednesday mornings on campus.
