What you'll study

The module aims to provide the student with the opportunity to explore and evaluate their own learning within their clinical speciality.

The aim of this module is to enable the student to:

Evaluate their own performance and undertake professional development to enhance and modify extended clinical practice. This will be in relation to leadership and professionalism as the scope of practice evolves to meet national, international and local perspectives. The student will justify their clinical and managerial performance, with evidence based practice. The emphasis will be upon inter-professional collaboration and the requirement to critically evaluate current clinical processes in the context of their emerging role as advanced practitioner.

Entry requirements

As per masters level entry. This is a second or third stage module on the advanced practice program. Students must have a clinical mentor to support practice placement.
