Ray French's novels All This Is Mine and Going Under have been translated into several languages and optioned for films.

His most recent book was End Notes, which he co-edited with Kath Mckay, while his first book, The Red Jag and Other Stories, was shortlisted for the Silver Pen Award.

Ray is one of four male authors whose memoirs are featured in the AHRC-funded collection Four Fathers (2006) which they toured nationwide.

His short story ‘Migration' was included in the Best European Fiction 2013 anthology. Ray's next novel is Welcome To The Reservation.
