Summary

A Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe lister (Mfg. and Industry), Dr. Joyjit Chatterjee is renowned for developing AI products that bolster energy and manufacturing processes. He is an invited Visiting Academic at the University of Hull, wherein, he voluntarily delivers guest lectures and talks in Computer Science few times a year as an invited industry expert in AI/ML, particularly at the university's Centre for Excellence in Data Science and AI Modelling (DAIM). To do his bit in contributing to the society and youth development, he provides voluntary career advice to university students and collaborating on research dissemination activities to support continued collaboration between Reckitt and the university.

Joyjit is currently IT & Digital Data Scientist- Continuous Improvement/Sr. Business Analyst at Reckitt, UK (MNC behind reputed FMCG brands like Dettol, Lysol etc.), and innovates applied AI solutions in supply chain to minimise wastes, optimise quality and enhance productivity through process optimisation. Previously as R&D Data Scientist (KTP Associate) at Reckitt on a Knowlegdge Transfer Partnership project with the University of Hull, he developed novel AI models for shelf-life prediction & optimization of healthcare formulations for NPD/EPD - awarded "Certificate of Excellence - Outstanding" by Innovate UK and covered as a KTP success story by Ashorne Hill.

Joyjit is an Oracle Certified GenAI AI Professional. He also has extensive background in data-driven O&M in the wind industry. Joyjit received the Green Talents Award (German govt.) for outstanding contributions to AI R&D in wind industry. His work has been covered by Forbes, World Economic Forum, Times of India, IEEE etc. Endorsed as Global Talent by UKRI & UK Home Office, he regularly features in high-profile events as invited speaker and panelist alongside CIOs and SVPs at Fortune 500 companies. He has served as expert reviewer on European Commission projects and is highly sought-after by industry, academia and governments as voluntary AI advisor.

R&D background- Postdoc (UofHull, UK), PhD in Computer Science (UofHull) on explainable AI for O&M of wind turbines; PGDip in Research Training (Hull), Prof. Certificate in AI (Oxford); CPD Course in Business (Cambridge); B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engg. (Gold Medalist-Amity Uni, India). He has published plethora of papers in AI & engineering (including leading conferences (NeurIPS, KDD etc.), and reputed journals (Wiley, Elsevier, Cambridge University Press etc.) being a top-cited author. He has filed patents with reputed researchers and delivered talks globally. Joyjit was a Visiting Researcher at UofBremen, Germany and Tamkang University, Taiwan on government funded projects. He regularly serves on committees for leading conferences & journals, is a certified Scrum Master and globetrotter.
