Research Impact Officer
Gill works across the University providing colleagues with advice on how the non-academic impact from their research can be maximised by planning-in that impact - from the point of starting to formulate research ideas, through making a grant application with strong impact plans, to effective implementation of those plans. She also advises on the development and drafting of robust impact case studies for the Research Excellence Framework.
Gill's expertise in research impact is complimented by over 26 years' experience of roles involving project management, partnership development, knowledge transfer, communications and event organisation.
