Gail Foster had a varied career as a registered nurse, working within a number of specialities and sectors.

She then completed a PGCE and has subsequently pursued a career teaching health and social care, and more recently pre-registration adult nursing. She has completed an MSc Applied Public Health from the University of Cumbria in 2018.

She was Programme Director for the BSc ( Hons) Adult Nursing programme from August 2019 until August 2021 and is currently year 1 intake lead for Adult nursing students.
