He was the principal investigator for a string of recent funded research projects including 'Creating Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains' and 'Social Enterprise Education' and 'Communication and dissemination network for practitioners, service users and academia on creating sustainable agricultural supply chains'. The findings of his research have been published in six edited books, 11 journal articles, nine book chapters and 22 conference papers.
